The Man, The Myth, The Merce
This week, looking forward to Cunningham technique class on Thursday will carry me over the hump! The Merce Cunningham Trust offers open-level technique classes Monday – Friday each week. The classes are at 12:15 p.m. at New York City Center, and are all taught by former Cunningham Company dancers. Each time I go, I find it thorough, invigorating, and physically demanding.
Classes are also offered at Dance New Amsterdam on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Check the schedule here.
